This Saturday, November 19, we’re playing our first show in over two years — with Bask and Shallows — at Broadways in downtown Asheville. Check out the flyer, drawn by our bassist Jeremy Joachim:
We go on first. There’s also a Facebook event page with more info: https://www.facebook.com/events/981961751913611/
In other news, our second album — which we began recording maybe late 2012 — is done, but not out yet. We’ll post more on that later when we know a release date.
It’s been a long time and we’d love to see you at our show!
A very nice interview here from the Mountain Xpress in Asheville about the history of the band and upcoming album. Also we are playing March 18 at The Mothlight with Dead Leaf Echo out of Brooklyn and are very excited. More news to announce soon…
We are happy to announce our first shows of the year. Feb. 9 we will be opening for Dead Meadow at The Grey Eagle in Asheville, NC. On March 18 we are joined by Dead Leaf Echo who stop at The Mothlight on their way to SXSW. More announcements to follow soon.
It’s been a busy few months for Knives & Daggers and its members. Here’s a summary of what we’re doing and some upcoming events:
More updates to come.
Tour is picking up steam. Looking forward to Philadelphia and New York to end things. Wilmington really brought it — the atmosphere was truly electric and it was one of K&D’s best shows! Also a bit of a homecoming for a couple of members who are from there. Sadly there was no beach time as we were off to Richmond for a rare early start time of 7:30 playing with 4 other bands. We finished so early that we decided to head on so we could enjoy Philly all day before we play there. More to come and we will post pictures from all the shows when tour concludes.
We have just concluded our second night of tour, and a lot of great bands have already shared the bills with us. We want to bring them all to Asheville. No hiccups so far, but we did end up changing a K&D family member’s tire at 3am on Sunday morning. We are off to Wilmington tomorrow. More later.
What Hurts the Most is finally available — on CD, vinyl, and digital download — and we are hitting the road on Saturday for our mini-tour on the east coast. We have also just booked a couple of Charlotte shows in September. Stay tuned for more. We’ll post some updates from the road unless there are any technical hangups.
We have added our east coast tour dates. If you have any recommendations for bands or venues, please let us know by sending an email to email@example.com.
