Thanks to VIA and onj. for having us play with them last weekend at the Mothlight. Thanks to Hannah for playing bass and for helping us print some K&D t-shirts last minute. We look forward to reconvening on stage sometime in the spring of 2018. For now, we’re gonna write some new songs, brush up on some old ones, and do the year-end holiday stuff. Thanks to everyone who came out last weekend — we had a great time and feel very humbled and thankful. 🙂 See you again soon!
We are playing a FREE show on Saturday night (November 11) with our friends VIA and onj., at the Mothlight in West Asheville. In fact, it’s VIA’s album release show for their Vessels of Sound, Vol 1. And as an added bonus, Burial Beer Co. will have a special-made Vessels of Sound beer exclusively for that evening. And did we mention our friends onj. are playing? And it’s free. So far, we’ve got a couple shows lined up:
- Saturday, October 14 at Petra’s in Charlotte, NC, with Jason Herring & The Mystery Plan and DJ Vonfunkhauser. More info here.
- Saturday, November 11 at the Mothlight in Asheville with VIA (their album release!) and Onj. More info here.
We also might play a show or two in Tennessee — working on that now!
Last but certainly not least, we are excited that our friend HannahLynn Cruey is playing bass with us! (Thank you, Hannah!)
Hope to see you soon! –K&D
We are so humbled by the response we received at the album release last Friday. Thank you to everyone who came out and showed such wonderful support, and thank you to WNC String Ensemble and Cobra Horse for opening and being (as usual) such kindhearted and lovely people. We couldn’t have hoped for a better night. Thank you, thank you. Love, K&D
Now we’re in crunch time gettin’ stuff prepared for this Friday’s album release. Printing some new t-shirts, burning a few CDs, printing the cassette tape panels, compiling download codes and stickers and buttons, and tons of other miscellaneous items.
We hope we’ll see you Friday at the Mothlight in West Asheville for the release of our 2nd (longtime coming) album “Keeping.” Free album if you come to the free show. More info: https://www.facebook.com/events/698955803642807/
